A quiet place is a place to reminisce, to reflect, to celebrate the joys and to find solace in the losses.


It can be found in many places; within a garden, by a river, but most of all within oneself. To lose oneself in creating something of beauty is to find a quiet place.

I have a lovely new frame...

... thanks to B at the Guild who made it for me. My current tapestry fits this frame better... Now I just need to put some more stitches into it!


I took my miniature tapestry rug with me yesterday and thanks to the help of several of the ladies I now know how to do it. I've realised I need to enlarge the pattern; it's a bit miniature too!
